Salam,

My heart absolutely bleeds for the family and friends of the young man involved.

I know I'll be hugely unpopular for saying this, but I can't help but spare a thought for the perpetrators of this horrible, horrible act.

Not only have they taken the life of another person, they've destroyed so much - the lives of his friends, his family and their own futures. The misguided lives that have been lead by people who do such things must surely lead us to pause and be for ones own faith. I think of the idiom "There but for the grace of God, go I", or indeed more appropriately, go thousands of young people everyday who are following the corruption that passes for society and culture in many of the countries the people of this forum are from.

I can only but hope that they realise the sheer weight of what they've done and that should they be charged and should it come to trial that they spare the family and not prolong the judicial process. I also hope that the time they may have to think about the actions they have taken may lead them to a huge realisation about the their futures, and how they will answer for what they have done in the hereafter.

Wassalam.
