Bernie was a wonderful, friendly lady whom I had the pleasure to be engaged to some years before she was cruelly taken from us and it was her inner beauty that will always live with me.
She always had a warm welcome whenever I bumped into her over the years after I left Liverpool for pastures new.
So hard to believe, even after ten years that I’ll never see her lovely smile again and that cheeky twinkle in her eyes that captivated you as you spoke with her.
